Smith & Sun
Smith & Sun (#16161D) is a Jewellery designer, who's childhood was spent in gem stores and antique markets . As an adult, they honed their skills and fuelled the passion further, in Hatton gardens London.
Every piece is individual, created with good vibes & powerful intent imbued in each item. They are hand carve, made in bronze or sterling silver. Vintage elements and other reused items are added on occasion.
Every collections starts with a narrative and passes another one along. Each piece comes with an item that sparked the collection; A Polaroid book of a Sylvia Plath poem 'The moon and the yew tree' or a blue glass vial of essential oils with a customised brass lid (capturing the essence of an imagined journey, from the earths crust to the moon)
The next collection of work is based from a dictionary she created - it is about the fullness one feels when an emotion or event is captured succinctly, in a perfect point. Naturally, each piece will be accompanied by a beautifully hand bound book.
